Wasp support

Support for Wasp is provided primarily via email. If you have a technical question not answered in Wasp manual, or believe that you have encountered a defect in Wasp, email at support@waspsoft.com.

If you encounter a defect in Wasp, the Wasp Support Department may request the source code and bytecode files of the failing application and of the third-party libraries it uses, in order to reproduce the problem. The respective non-disclosure agreement will be signed on your request.

Wasp Support allows the holder of a Wasp license the followng services:

Technical Questions

Technical questions on the Wasp tool shall be accepted by AcademSoft at the email support@waspsoft.com. AcademSoft shall respond to a technical question submitted by the holder of a Wasp license during the Support Period in three business days. The response shall be an email containing the answer or a request for more information.

The holder of a Wasp license can ask technical questions by phone in US and get answer immediately or by email in three business days for the holders a Wasp license with Support.

Upgrading to the Current Version

Upgrading to the current version of Wasp may be included as the part of a Wasp license at no additional charge.

Additional six months of Support Contract may be purchased by the holder of a Wasp license. See Wasp purchase

New service: Order Wasp message report for your Java software!

A user should have some experience in working with the Wasp tool in order to understand Wasp messages and extract useful information about the program from messages. To facilitate your mastering in the Wasp technology, You can order a Wasp message report for your Java software. The Wasp message report includes the followings:

  • message listing for each program of your software (mes-file)
  • method call graph for each program (grf-file)
  • description of errors, doubted places, and drawbacks in your programs on the base of our analysis of the message listings
