Wasp for Java

The Wasp analyser statically detects subtle run-time errors and weak points in a Java source code. The detailed and precise method call graph is produced by Wasp to facilitate understanding Wasp error messages.
The Wasp tool is available for Linux and Windows 95/98/NT/2000.

System Requirements

  • OS: Linux 2.2 or higher recommended, Windows 95/98/NT/2000
  • CPU: 486 minimum, Pentium or higher recommended
  • RAM: 32Mb minimum, 256Mb or more recommended
  • Disk space for each irf-file: 40-200 Mb or more

Restriction of Wasp 3.00 for Windows:

  • Virtual memory in Wasp analysis is limited by 1024MB

Multhithread programs are analyzed by Wasp like sequential programs.
